Three years or so ago I met Sandy, the Bass player of the Celtic band, Morrissey's Private Stock.

Sandy and I started getting together regularly and practising some great songs from days gone by - mostly songs from our youth. We had fun learning and singing harmonies and creating our own versions.

Then Sandy very eagerly, introduced Peter Feldstein and I to each other. Peter is a fiddler and plays in Squidjigger, a Montreal based band.

We hit it off as a trio and enjoyed rehearsing regularly - three-part harmonies and all.

We finally played a gig as a trio and were brainstorming for a name when, very sadly, Sandy was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage four cancer and left the trio and this world within a week.

Peter and I had to regroup as a duo (so far) and keep Sandy's project going.

We really enjoy it and hope folks we play for do too.
